Our Commitment to Social Impact

Why We Created AI for Cause

At Helium, we believe that technology should serve humanity's greatest needs. While AI has the potential to transform industries and create economic value, its most profound impact may be in empowering organizations working to solve social and environmental challenges.

Nonprofit organizations are often at the forefront of innovation in addressing complex social problems, yet they frequently lack access to the latest technologies and tools. The AI for Cause program is our way of ensuring that the benefits of AI reach those who need it most—the organizations and communities working to create a more just, equitable, and sustainable world.

Beyond Technology Access

AI for Cause is more than just free software—it's a partnership. We're committed to:

  • Learning Together: Understanding how AI can best serve the nonprofit sector and incorporating those insights into our product development
  • Building Community: Creating a network of nonprofit leaders who can share experiences, best practices, and support each other's missions
  • Amplifying Impact: Helping organizations measure and communicate their impact more effectively, leading to increased funding and support
  • Advancing the Field: Contributing to the broader conversation about responsible AI use in the social sector and sharing learnings with the community
  • Long-Term Partnership: Supporting organizations beyond the one-year program period with continued resources, community access, and affordable pricing

Join Us in Making a Difference

Whether you're a nonprofit leader looking to apply, a funder interested in supporting the program, or an individual who wants to help, we invite you to join us in democratizing access to AI for social good.

Together, we can ensure that the AI revolution benefits not just the privileged few, but all of humanity—especially those working tirelessly to make the world a better place.
